Getting Started

How do I set my quit date?

When you first open UnVaped, you'll be prompted to enter your quit date. You can also change it later in Settings → Quit Date. Your quit date is used to calculate all your progress milestones.

How do I calculate my daily vaping costs?

Add up what you spend on vaping products (disposable vapes, pods, e-liquid, etc.) per day. For example, if you buy a $20 disposable that lasts 2 days, your daily cost is $10. Enter this in Settings → Daily Spend.

Subscriptions & Billing

How do I manage my subscription?

  • iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → UnVaped
  • Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → UnVaped

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your app store account, not within the app. Follow the steps above to manage your subscription and select "Cancel Subscription." You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their refund policies. To request a refund:

  • iOS: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Android: Request a refund through the Google Play Store app

Features & Functionality

Why aren't my notifications working?

Make sure notifications are enabled:

  • In the app: Settings → Notifications → Enable Reminders
  • iOS: Settings → Notifications → UnVaped → Allow Notifications
  • Android: Settings → Apps → UnVaped → Notifications → Enable

How are health milestones calculated?

Health milestones are based on peer-reviewed medical research about nicotine recovery timelines. They're calculated from your quit date and represent average recovery times. Individual results may vary—always consult your healthcare provider.

Can I track multiple quit attempts?

Currently, UnVaped tracks one quit date at a time. If you relapse and restart your journey, you can update your quit date in Settings. Your previous data will be reset.

Is my data private?

Yes! Most of your data (quit date, craving logs, check-ins) is stored locally on your device and never leaves it. Only subscription status is synced through RevenueCat. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Account & Data

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently delete all your data from your device. This action cannot be undone.

How do I export my data?

Contact us at support@unvaped.xyz to request an export of your data. We'll provide it in a standard format within 30 days.

Can I sync my data across devices?

Currently, data is stored locally on each device. Cloud sync is planned for a future update. Your subscription status will sync automatically across devices signed into the same app store account.

Technical Issues

The app is crashing. What should I do?

  1. Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store or Google Play
  2. Restart your device
  3. If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app (note: this will delete local data)
  4. Contact support with details about when the crash occurs

My timer isn't updating correctly

Verify that your quit date is set correctly in Settings. The timer calculates from your quit date to the current time. Make sure your device's date and time settings are correct.

The app won't install or update

  • Check that you have enough storage space on your device
  • Verify you have a stable internet connection
  • Restart your device and try again
  • Check that your device meets minimum requirements (iOS 13+ or Android 8+)
